About
Jackson P. Zirrith
Jackson is an award winning filmmaker and animator. In 2024, he earned a Bachelor of Design in Digital Arts and Media Design from The Pennsylvania State University. His practice is focused on narrative and documentary storytelling, 2D character animation, and motion graphics. His work explores themes of trauma, memory, and disability.
In 2022, Jackson co-founded Penkle Animation Studio and directed a team of artists to create short films. He is also passionate about giving back to his community. In his free time, Jackson volunteers as a coordinator of the Happy Valley Animation Film Festival, continues to support the PSU Animation Club, and served as a community volunteer for Angels for Action for eight years.
He is currently working as a freelance artist and is accepting new work.
