Concept
Oftentimes, veterans are remembered for their time serving, and the stories they have from combat zones. These stories can be full of humor, valor, or pain. However, the stories not many hear are those of the veteran’s return. When they come home to see the kitchen is where the living room was, when their favorite restaurant is closed down, or a close friend succumbs to their own fate at home. War can make these concepts break down in a sort of unmaking, which can make the world they once knew seem completely unfamiliar to them.
