Early Concept
An animatic video synced up to a song which depicts my personal experience growing up with a disability. I created an animated music animatic because I have experience with creating storyboards and it will be more doable than a full animation. My project addresses the issues which can arise socially for children who grow up with a disability. I wanted to address the problem by showing how it affected me. Though the experiences are not exactly the same for everyone facing this issue, I feel like showing how it affects an individual can make the story feel more grounded in actual human experience. The impact I want this project to have is to shine light for those who don’t know how the negative effects of this can develop at a very early age. I also want to show those who are experiencing this that there is a way to get through this in a positive way.
